Description
Folding@Home Android App
Help cure cancer with your AndroidFolding@Home is an app that basically lets you fight to cure diseases like cancer or Alzheimer's by helping others with their research. To help, all you have to do is connect your fully charged Android to a WiFi network.
The way Folding@Home works is very simple: when you're not using your device (like when you're sleeping), connect it to your WiFi network and activate the app. As long as the app is activated, your Android device will send and receive information from various universities that are conducting studies.
Sony and Stanford University have promised that using this app in no way compromises your safety or privacy. The app does not use the internal or external memory, app data, or Android device functions. It just needs processing power and WiFi to work, and it will only run when you have it activated.
Folding@Home is an interesting app with which you can your part (however small) in helping others with very important research.
